Lesson 37
*Community yoga Mangawhai
Developing a personal practice.
"When a person sings, their body, their mouth, their eyes, their words, their voice says all these hunspeakable things that you can’t explain but that mean something anyway. It’s a weird thing...at the end of the night I feel strange, because I feel I’ve told everybody all my secrets." ~Jeff Buckley
“To heal your wounds, I get you your dance” ~Shahram Shiva
Kia Ora Mangawhai and surround!
Another short week! This Thursday is Waitangi day, and our yoga practice is still on at 7 pm at the Anglican Church.
In this practice, we are going to direct our attention inwardly.
Identifying the peculiarities of our rhythm of the breath;
Sensing the notes of which the heartbeats; and the hum of our emotional state.
This would be the chord of our movement.
Listen, feeling and moving with the flow of our inner-music.
I hope to see you guys on Thursday at 0505/9 Molesworth Drive, 7 pm
Entry: Koha (Donation)
*Community yoga is all about sharing. it is for everybody willing to explore; The aim is to inspire people to develop a personal practice, with a slow flow yoga sequence, that we take home, then we gather every week as a team in a theme class, by the poetic title of our teachings; We learn together the unlimited lessons of the practice.
