The meaning of meaning.
Lesson 3
Community yoga Mangawhai
Developing a personal practice .
"He who has a why to live can bear almost any how".
- Friedrich Nietzsche
To develop a personal yoga practice, we need to find motivation, a motive for an action, a reason to move.
How can we found the motivation to practice yoga on our own?
We can type this question on google, and sure we would find thousands of amazing videos of yoga classes online.
But only a process of creativity and ingenuity would give “sense”, to the question, finding a practice that wakes you up every day with the enthusiasm of doing so, because it gives you energy, in other words, it gives you meaning.
This inquiry requires an internal exploration in our goal and values, observing our unique expression and how this gives the momentum to the moment to moment, directing our intentions.
In today's practice, we’ll use intention as tools for the initiation and inspiration in our movement.
Slow flow, regulated coordination of movement and posture.
One hour yoga class, starting at 6:30pm at the Anglican Church in Mangawhai village, please arrive at least 5 minutes early.
Entry is Koha (donation)
