The Nurture of Nature

Updated: Feb 25, 2020

Lesson 39

*Community yoga Mangawhai

Developing a personal practice.

“We shape clay into a pot, but it is the emptiness inside that holds, whatever we want.”

~Lao Tzu

Kia Ora fam!

In tomorrow's practice, we are going to transit between positions with the idea of observing the consequence of our decisions.

Simple decisions, of simple actions:

When we reach our arms, how much do we extend?

What's the pressure that we use during balance?

How long do we pose?

and what is the quality of our movement?

More than questions to be answered, they are a reminder that we are always choosing.

How we choose is an expression of who we are.

So the task here is to select the conditions that allow us to move with ease.

Be nourished by the acceptance of our nature, cultivating the choicest environment to manifest our uniqueness.

Hope to see you tomorrow night.

Class starts at 7 pm

0505/9 Molesworth Drive,

Entry: Koha (Donation)

*Community yoga is all about sharing. It is for everybody willing to explore; The aim is to inspire people to develop a personal practice, with a slow flow yoga sequence, that we take home, then we gather every week as a team in a theme class, by the poetic title of our teachings; We learn together the unlimited lessons of the practice.
