“The body says what words cannot.”
-Martha Graham
In Tomorrow's class, I am presenting the guidelines of how we are going to develop a personal and personalized yoga practice by the observation on how we move and the posture of our body.
Although there are a lot of yoga poses (asanas) there are really 6 common and functional positions.
In this practice, we are looking at these positions ( Standing, Sitting, Squatting, All fours, Kneeling, Laying) and we go from one to the other.
Creating the foundations for a practice that is self-exploratory, a way to mirror the way we transit from moment to moment, finding the optimal poise to developing the ability to move more effective and as graceful as possible.
One hour class, the entree is Koha and starts at 6:30 pm, every Tuesday at the Anglican Church in Mangawhai, please arrive at least 5minuts before.
Hope I can see you there. indifferent “situations” and now we can adapt from pose to pose more functionally and organically.
Juan
